Having a great time this week! We are having summer camp over at my house with a group of students! We have been trading during the day then studying at night refining our strategy and technique and just having fun! One of my favorite parts of doing this is meeting these guys its been a memorable week!
Here is on of my favorite day trading strategy which is Earnings Breakdowns. When trading stocks its important to have a toolbox of setups that you can trade with everyday. On the day of earnings these type of gapper plays are my goto. One of the key things that I look for is a few days after earnings if the stock starts to pop if we find a level or it starts to round back down we can get a short play back to the downside. This type of strategy you will also see with our swing trading group too. I learned this from Paul its a swing trade strategy I just turn them into day trades when I zoom in on smaller time frames.
