How I’m Trading This Market After a 12% Melt-Up and 5% Selloff on this classic inside day.

Let’s keep it real—this is some of the craziest action we’ve seen. Yesterday we had a 12% squeeze. Today, a 5% drop. It feels like nothing makes sense, but that’s only if you don’t have a plan.

I was in Jacksonville visiting family, so I didn’t catch all of today’s session live. But what I did see was interesting—this wasn’t just a selloff. This was a controlled pullback in that it was a big pullback but it had reversed right at the halt levels. Buyers were stepping in and we have a higher low

Inside Day = Opportunity

Here’s the key thing that stood out to me: today was an inside day. That means the range stayed within yesterday’s monster candle. In bear markets, that matters.

  • We had a huge flush intraday
  • The market bounced HARD off the halt level
  • That bounce left a big wick on the chart = buyers stepped in

We also saw higher lows. That’s the first sign of a potential bottoming structure. I’m not saying this is the end of the bear market. I’m saying that for tomorrow, there’s a path to a bounce.

What I’m Watching

You don’t need a sexy watchlist right now. You need liquid names with structure:

  • $GOOGL: inside day setup. Break previous high? We run to the 200-day.
  • $MSFT and $PLTR: same deal—tight ranges, clear levels.
  • $TSLA: they tried to kill it. It ripped 15+ points off the lows.
  • $Hood and $AKLO: maybe a little early, but the setups are forming.

And of course, always keep an eye on market breadth, the VIX, and T2108. If you’re not tracking those, you’re flying blind.

This is a trader’s market. You don’t need to be a hero, but you do need to be prepared. If you want to learn how I actually trade this stuff in real time, join my next 60-Day Live Trading Bootcamp.
