We had one of the wildest weeks in years. From extreme fear, circuit breakers, and 3 a.m. sessions to a 15% bounce in the indexes—this market is not for the faint of heart.
But here's the truth: the bounce didn’t surprise me.
It Was in the Breadth
The T2108—my go-to market breadth indicator—hit levels we hadn’t seen since COVID. Before that, not since 2008. When only 3–5% of stocks are above their 40-day moving average, that’s not a red flag—that’s a fire sale.
Ignore the news cycle. Forget the tariffs. The price is all that matters.

So, Did We Bottom?
Maybe. Maybe not.
But here’s what I do know—this is where short squeezes and fakeouts live. It’s not a place to predict. It’s a place to trade with tight risk and fast exits.
My plan this week is clear:
- $BABA – Baseline around 110. If we take that out, I’ll ride it.
- $PLTR – Two inside days. Breakout setup into the 50-day.
- $MSTR – Tightening wedge. 300 is the line in the sand.
- $VXX – I’m already in short. If it breaks 77, I’m adding heavy.
The key? Don’t chase. Don’t oversize. Don’t believe in fairytales. Let the price lead.
And if the bounce sticks, we ride. If not, we fade.
