After a bit of a mini reversal to start the month the markets got their rally hats back on. We had across the board gains for the weeks and have made new highs once again with all major indices up 2% or more. Earnings season is starting up so watch your earnings calender if your holding any stocks overnight. Some of my biggest blowsups have been from accidently holding a stock into earnings that was in my swing book and bam im cut by 30%. We have a lot of companies reporting this week which should lead to some great earnings plays. The markets making new highs into earnings which could set up some sell the news events. Either way it will make great trading. Earnings season is the best time for daytraders to load up on gains as the volatility in names will give us tons of opportunities long and short. Scan for gappers & big earnings beats or misses in the a.m. those will be our first plays of the day.
