Monday Night Study Session

Guys we have a very busy week. My team and i are working our butts off to do a lot of webinars and classes while my schedule is free for a bit and im not traveling! We are adding some more swingtrading/partime trading stuff to the 60day bootcamp, We have the Building Small Accounts Class for our members by big willy , and some real new exciting developments in our hedgefund with our man Haim Bodek who manages our risk and does development on proprietary technology and algos  that is going to have some really cool stuff for our hedgefund traders in our Bulls Silver program

STudy session MONDAY AT 8PM :  Its open forum in our chatroom so you can bring your questions, charts, anything that you want to talk about.  Im seeing a lot of progress in the chatroom from many of you guys.  Your starting to pick up the system and the method and really locking down your trade plan.  But we still have much work to do and between this weekly study session and more webinars/videos hopefully we will all be able to accomplish our trading goals.  Its very important if you are learning or having trouble or even doing great that you take advantage of these times.

  1. Kunal, I bought in to IGE for a swing @ 45.95 with a stop at 45.94

The reason I selected this stock is the it appeared to be a flag coming out of a consolidation. Volume was about 250k. Over bought +80. It appeared to be supported my the 20 DMA & the 50 DMA.

About an hour after i bought it the price dropped and when my stoploss was exercised for 45.94 but actually sold at 45.90.

First since I was planning on this as a swing, did I put my stop in the wrong Place? I’m wondering what I missed in making my case?

Are stops placed differently for swings versus intraday?

    • yes swings and daytrades are very different.. u cant ever have a 1 penny stop loss on anything.. u will 100% get stopped out no matter what. if your goal is to make dollars its hard to have a stop loss that is 1 cent these re 2 diff things.. 10 day 30min chart is good for stop loss for swings

  2. I’ve noticed that coming from the simulator to trading live, through the Clique Fund there’s a huge difference. Not just the transition from sim money to real money but from the ability to trade freely to being restricted in size and shares. I know why it has been put in place, but could you offer some suggestions for those starting off under that system.

I’ve faced difficulties with feeling compelled to close one of my (2 trade max.) open positions because I feel like I’m missing out on another trade. It has seemed to make me a bit more anxious in my trading due to the uncertainty if the two trades I’m locked into are the best trades at the moment. So if you could discuss strategies and recommended focus points for new traders in the hedge fund while they’re earning the privilege to trade freely I would appreciate it.

  3. Filling orders, I noticed that if I choose market order, I get filled at the wrong point and always 10 to 15 pennies on the wrong side of the trade. it shows that I am already down a few dollars to start with. what is the best way to fill an order, market or bid?

  4. What is your biggest piece of advice for a struggling newbie who is putting in the study hours but not able to connect the dots? What is the best path to getting back in the game?

  5. Looking forward to the webinar.

Is this the same Haim as the Sang Lucci group? I follow his blog but still can’t understand how risk management works?

Can you go over how the hedge fund program works? (platform, fees, time commitment?)

(I took your basic course a couple of years ago)
